Breslau Pre-Construction Market
Breslau is a village of about 5,000 people — 5,053 at the 2021 Census — in the Township of Woolwich, part of the Region of Waterloo. It sits on the Grand River between Kitchener and Guelph, with Highway 7 running through the area, so Kitchener-Waterloo's jobs, universities and shopping are a short drive while the streets themselves stay small-town.
It's also home to the Region of Waterloo International Airport, and it's one of the three largest settlements in Woolwich. For GTA buyers, downtown Toronto is roughly 100 kilometres east via Highway 401 — around an hour and five minutes in typical off-peak traffic.
Breslau's active pre-construction on this site is Riverland, the Grand River community Empire Homes has been building out since 2006. The current release mixes two-storey townhomes with 27' and 34' single-family homes, with parks, trails and green space woven between the streets, and St. Boniface School about 450 metres away. The trade-off is a familiar one along the corridor: a smaller-town setting in exchange for a short drive into the city for work and errands.
